PROJECTS

Here is a small sampling of various projects I worked on over the years. My contributions ranged from mechanical design to physical prototyping to digital implementation. The best projects are ones where I work multiple roles.

I worked with a team of students on a contract to develop a minimum viable product for startup company EZCoaching. I implemented the front-end design for the web app, which included a home page, create a practice page, and results page, among others. I also helped with the design of the wearable device. After completing the CAD model, we 3D printed a prototype and placed the electronics inside. We waterproofed the prototype, and I swam a couple sessions with the device to take initial measurements.

I created ELLISongs as a way to share interesting music with friends and family. The idea was to update the site with new songs I every 10 days. I designed the look of the site and the back-end functionality. The website is hosted on Github Pages.

Pro-Bot (short for programmable robot) was created for the Change the World Challenge at RPI, where it placed first in its category. I worked with a team of students to design and prototype a little robot that could be programmed with simple commands. Our goal was to create an inexpensive product with an associated online community to help young children start to learn programming basics.
